Element 1: Conduct

How courageous does your team work together?

What is the behavior your team shows during ideation, planning and execution of your initiatives and activities? We look at the six roles your team should jointly fulfil in each situation to find the balance in team courage.

Character is about your team’s personality and how it balances between comfort and carelessness, being centered around courage. Your team can influence the different aspects of its character to become more courageous.

How we help teams find their courage

ASSESSMENT

Take the team assessment. Every individual of your team will receive a link to our Courageous Teams Index. Depending on the plan you choose there are two to seven modules and various levels of details. The survey takes between 10 and 30 minutes to complete.

REPORT

Evaluate your results in the detailed team report. Your individual responses will be aggregated into one report for your team. You will receive your report automatically after the last team member has completed the survey. In the team report you will find the first pointers to get started with your Courageous Teams Journey.

WORKSHOP

Start putting your insights to action in an engaging team workshop. We have carefully designed a 2.5-hours engaging session for your team to help you prioritize and get started with the results of your Courageous Teams Index. These workshops can be held either online or offline, depending on your preferences.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the Courageous Teams approach work for remote teams?

Yes, both teams that work from the same work location as well as teams that work together from different work locations and across time zones can benefit from building a strong foundation of courage. Our services, including the assessment and the workshops, can be run fully remote and online or in person, depending on the requirements and preferences of the team.

What sort of teams is the Courageous Teams approach suitable for?

The Courageous Teams approach is suitable for many types of teams. We see best results and most value added for leadership teams, management teams and senior project teams. Our approach works not just for teams in larger corporate organizations and multinational companies, but also for smaller and medium sized enterprises as well as in startups.

What is the maximum and minimum team size to build a Courageous Team?

We advise to keep the team size between 4 and 20 team members. For large teams above 20team members we advise to measure the sub-teams and run joint workshops with the larger teams, to get to deeper insights in team dynamics. Teams smaller than 4 in theory could work, but it will be harder to maintain anonymity of answers to the assessment.

How does Courageous Teams compare to other assessments?

Most assessments focus on individual leadership skills and traits. We believe to really excel as a team, the focus should not be on profiling individuals and singling them out in how to drive change, but rather on how these individuals come together as a team. The Courageous Teams approach is one of the only truly team-based approaches. Moreover, the Courageous Teams approach is foundation alto change. Before anything else, before any initiative can be successfully executed, the team needs to have the courage to take the first step. Therefore, the Courageous Teams approach is the basis to excellent team collaboration and great team success.

How long is the end-to-end process?

Our system is designed for fast delivery. Upon completion of your order, your team will receive access to the assessment right away. Depending on the plan you choose, the assessment takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to complete. Once all your team members have completed the assessment, you will receive your results within 24 hours. The workshop will be scheduled once the results are out. Depending on your team’s availability, this can be within the same week.

In what language can I take the Courageous Teams Index assessment?

English is available, we are working on other languages. Let us know your preferred language so we can prioritize and cater to your needs
